Description
CRC Heavy Duty Silicone Lubricant is a multi-purpose silicone spray that forms a colourless, odourless, non-staining film which lubricates and protects in most metal-to-non-metal applications. CRC lists wood, metal and rubber surfaces, including in moist and harsh environments. The product is not plastic safe, so it should not be used on plastics.
The Canadian Safety Data Sheet classifies it as an extremely flammable aerosol (Category 1) in a pressurized container that may burst if heated. It causes skin irritation and serious eye irritation, may cause drowsiness or dizziness, and may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold as a 212 g (10 oz) aerosol can.
