Description
Heavy duty structural wood screw used to attach rafters or trusses to the top plate, and for landscape timbers, fences, decks, headers and stair stringers. The manufacturer states that no pre-drilling is needed and that the head allows countersinking.
Clamshell of 12 screws, 6 in (152 mm) long. Per the manufacturer data sheet, the screw is heat treated, has about 2 in of thread, and is not recommended for use within 1000 feet (about 300 m) of saltwater. Follow the installation guide supplied with the product.
