Description
The Klein Tools D228-7 is a 7 in high-leverage diagonal cutting plier for general-purpose cutting. The manufacturer states the rivet sits closer to the cutting edge for 36 percent greater cutting power than other plier designs.
Short jaws and beveled cutting edges allow close cutting of wire, and the knives are laser-hardened per the manufacturer. The joint is hot-riveted for smooth action and no handle wobble. Not insulated: the plastic-dipped handles are not intended for protection against electrical shock (per the manufacturer). Sold as a single tool.
