Description
The Klein Tools D238-8 is an 8 in high-leverage diagonal cutting plier with an angled head for easy use in confined spaces. The manufacturer states the rivet sits closer to the cutting edge for 36 percent greater cutting power than other plier designs.
It has short jaws and semi-flush cutting knives; the manufacturer says they cut Cherry Burrell rivets and that the tool is for use on non-ferrous wire only. Knives are induction-hardened and the joint is hot-riveted. Not insulated: the plastic-dipped handles are not intended for protection against electrical shock (per the manufacturer).
