Description
The Knipex 10 99 I220 is an 8-3/4 in ear clamp pliers for mounting 1-ear and 2-ear clamps (Oetiker® system or similar). The manufacturer states that it does not damage the press points on the ear clamps and that its slim head gives good access in confined areas. It adds a side jaw for clamping at a 90° angle to the ear clamp when space is limited.
Per the manufacturer, it is used for clamps on CV boots, cooler and fuel lines, air pressure systems and compressors. High-grade special tool steel, forged and oil-hardened, with plastic-coated handles. Sold as a single tool.
