Description
The Knipex 71 01 160 is a 6-1/4 in CoBolt S compact bolt cutter with a straight blade. The manufacturer states that its lever action design allows cutting with little effort, and that it cuts bolts, nails and rivets up to 13/64 in (5.3 mm) diameter as well as soft, hard and piano wire.
Per the manufacturer, the induction hardened cutting edges are approx. 64 HRC and micro-structured to help with large cross-sections. A gripping surface below the joint lets you hold and pull wire. Made of forged, multi-stage oil-hardened chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel with plastic-coated handles. Sold as a single tool.
