Description
The Knipex CoBolt XL 71 01 250 is a 250 mm compact bolt cutter for cutting larger cross-sections and very hard materials. The manufacturer states that its special joint design increases manual force 40-fold and that it needs 60% less effort than conventional high leverage diagonal cutters. It is designed for two-hand operation for maximum cutting force.
The induction-hardened precision blades reach approx. 64 HRC per the manufacturer, and the straight cutting edges are meant to ease cutting of flat material while also suiting thin round material. A gripping surface below the joint lets the user grip and pull wire from Ø 1.0 mm. Sold as a single tool.
