Description
The Knipex 99 01 220 is an 8-3/4 in concreters' nipper for twisting and cutting tie wire in one operation. Per the manufacturer it is intended for work with binding wire, with induction hardened cutting edges of approx. 61 HRC.
The pliers are made of high-grade special tool steel, forged and multi-stage oil-hardened, with plastic-coated handles and a rivet joint. Cutting capacity is listed as 3/32 in for medium-hard wire (nail) and 1/16 in for hard wire. Sold as a single tool.
