Description
Loctite 263 is a red, one-part anaerobic threadlocker made for permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners such as studs in motor housings and nuts on studs in pump housings. It cures without air between close-fitting metal surfaces, works on active metals and on stainless steel and plated finishes, and tolerates minor surface contamination from cutting, lubricating and protective oils. Maintenance and repair teams use it on heavy-duty assemblies that must stay put under vibration and shock. This is the 10 mL bottle.
The Safety Data Sheet (Henkel Canada) classifies the product as a skin irritant (Category 2), serious eye irritant (Category 2A) and skin sensitizer (Category 1), signal word Warning. Wear protective gloves, eye protection and face protection, avoid breathing mist or vapours and read the SDS before use. Not recommended for pure oxygen systems. Disassembly normally requires localized heat. Sold per 10 mL bottle.
