Description
Loctite 609 is a one-part, low-viscosity, green anaerobic retaining compound for bonding cylindrical fitting parts. It cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces, locks bushings, bearings, sleeves and rotors on shafts, and augments press fits to prevent loosening from shock and vibration. Maintenance and machine-repair crews use it on slip-fit and press-fit assemblies.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as a skin irritant (Category 2), an eye irritant (Category 2A), a skin sensitizer (Category 1) and a repeated-exposure target organ toxicant (Category 2). Wear gloves and eye protection, avoid skin contact and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold per 10 mL bottle.
