Description
Loctite LB N-1000 is a copper-colored, copper-based anti-seize paste of high purity, made of copper and graphite flake in a petroleum carrier. Henkel formulates it with the lowest practical levels of halogens, sulfur and heavy metals, and states that it prevents galling, seizing and thread damage, with an operating range up to 982 °C (1800 °F). The technical data sheet lists bolts, studs, valves and pipe fittings in locations where stainless steel fasteners are used.
The Canadian Safety Data Sheet classifies it as causing skin irritation (Category 2) and serious eye irritation (Category 2A). It lists white mineral oil, graphite, copper and kaolin as components. Read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold as an 8 oz bottle.
