Description
Loctite SI 595, known as Loctite Superflex Clear RTV Silicone, is a one-component acetoxy silicone that cures with moisture from the air into a tough, flexible rubber seal. Henkel designed it to resist aging, weathering and thermal cycling and to bond and seal most surfaces (not recommended for concrete); typical uses include electrical insulation, trim bonding and sealing ductwork, vents, flues, doors and windows.
Aerosol: the Safety Data Sheet warns that the outer container is pressurized with an extremely flammable gas and may burst if heated, and lists skin irritation (Category 3) and serious eye irritation (Category 2A). Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50 °C. Read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold by the 190 mL aerosol can.
