Description
LPS All-Purpose Anti-Seize is a dark gray, moly-fortified, lead-free paste that helps prevent seizing, galling and heat-freeze on threaded and mating metal parts. According to LPS, it stays in place without running or dripping and is rated up to 1800 °F (982 °C). It is used by industrial maintenance crews on nuts and bolts, fittings, flange faces, gaskets, guides, keys, keyways and slides. This is the 454 g (1 lb) can with the brush supplied.
Clean the threads with a wire brush, apply a thin coat with the brush, assemble and wipe off any excess. Not for use on oxygen systems. The Canadian Safety Data Sheet (WHMIS 2023) lists the product as not classified as hazardous and for industrial use only; still avoid contact with eyes and skin and keep away from heat and ignition sources.
