Description

LPS Clear Penetrating Grease is a clear, tacky gel grease sprayed from an aerosol. It is meant for open mechanical parts that need a lubricating coating that stays where it is applied and holds up to sling-off and water. Typical jobs include chains, wire rope, cables, door hinges, slides, rails, pulleys, sprockets, bushings and valves on lift trucks and plant equipment. It is NSF registered in category H2, which covers lubricants used where there is no possibility of food contact.

The Canadian Safety Data Sheet (WHMIS 2023) classifies the aerosol as Aerosol Category 1, Skin Irritation Category 2, Serious Eye Irritation Category 2A and Specific Target Organ Toxicity, Single Exposure (narcotic effects) Category 3, signal word Danger. The carrier contains acetone and heptane solvents, so the spray is extremely flammable: keep it away from flames, sparks and heat, do not pierce or burn the can, and use it only in a well-ventilated area with gloves and eye protection. Do not spray on people, exposed food or food utensils. Read the SDS before use. Sold per can.
