Description
The Master Lock No. 421 is a steel safety lockout hasp with a 1-1/2 in (38 mm) inside jaw diameter. Per the manufacturer, it has a heavy gauge steel jaw with a red vinyl-coated handle, measures 2-3/8 in x 5 in (60 mm x 127 mm) and holds up to 6 safety padlocks.
Per the manufacturer, it is intended for lockout by multiple workers at each lockout point: it keeps equipment inoperative while repairs or adjustments are made, and the control cannot be turned on until the last worker's padlock is removed from the hasp. The manufacturer lists a maximum accepted shackle diameter of 9/32 in. Sold individually (one hasp). Padlocks are sold separately. The photo shows the hasp closed and open.
