Description
The Norton BlueFire R823P is a cloth file belt with a self-sharpening zirconia alumina abrasive, X-weight polyester backing and a resin bond. This 1/2 x 18 in, 80-grit belt is made for file belt sanders and is intended for light to moderate stock removal on metal and wood, including stainless steel, aluminum and carbon steels, in metal fabrication, manufacturing and collision repair.
Use on a file belt sander of matching size, with the guard in place, at the belt's rated speed and with light to moderate pressure. Wear eye, hearing and respiratory protection and gloves suited to the work. Replace a belt that is torn or glazed. Sold per pack of 5 belts.
