Description
The OTC 1176 is a reversible jaw slide hammer puller. Per the manufacturer, it handles many pulling jobs involving gears, bearings, outer races, grease retainers and oil seals. Either two or three puller jaws may be used for "inside" pulling jobs such as bearing cups and outer races, as well as regular "outside" pulling jobs.
The manufacturer states a 2-1/2 lb hammer and a 27 in overall length, and that the basic slide hammer unit can be removed and used independently. Jaw spreads, 2-jaw: inside 1-1/4 in to 3-1/2 in, outside 1 in to 4-1/2 in; 3-jaw: inside 1-1/2 in to 4-1/4 in, outside 1-1/2 in to 4-1/2 in. Sold as a single puller.
