Description
The OTC 6982DEX is a set of three double edge screw extractors for broken bolts and screws. Per the manufacturer, they cover screw sizes from #10/M5 to 1/2 in/M12 and turn clockwise or counter-clockwise for right-hand and left-hand threads.
The set contains No. 1 (#10 to 1/4 in), No. 2 (5/16 in to 3/8 in) and No. 3 (7/16 in to 1/2 in). The extractors have a tapered flute and a hex shank that works with standard hex sockets, per the manufacturer. A pilot hole is drilled first with a 1/8, 3/16 or 1/4 in bit (not included). Sold as a set of 3.
