Description
Permatex 1 Minute Gel Epoxy is a two-part, non-drip epoxy delivered in a dual syringe that dispenses resin and hardener in equal amounts. A blue dye in the mix turns clear when it is thoroughly blended, which shows the operator that it is ready to apply. Workshops and maintenance crews use it for small repairs and multi-piece assemblies on metal, ceramic, glass, fiberglass, rubber and hard plastics. The syringe holds 25 mL.
The Safety Data Sheet (WHMIS 2015) classifies the resin as a skin irritant (Category 2), serious eye irritant (Category 2A) and skin sensitizer (Category 1), signal word Warning. The hardener is classified as harmful if swallowed, in contact with skin and if inhaled (Category 4), as causing severe skin burns and serious eye damage (Category 1) and as a skin sensitizer, signal word Danger. Wear gloves, protective clothing and eye protection, and read the SDS before use. Does not bond most polyethylene or polypropylene. Sold per syringe.
