Description
This 300 mL cartridge of Permatex Black RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant holds the same one-part, moisture-curing silicone paste as the 80 mL tube, in a format for a standard caulking gun. It is used by maintenance and fabrication crews to seal and bond housings, covers, door frames, windows and weather stripping, forming a flexible, waterproof silicone rubber seal.
The maker states the formula is not recommended for engine gasketing. The current SDS lists skin sensitization (Category 1) and carcinogenicity (Category 1B) with the signal word Danger, and names carbon black and 2-butanone oxime. Read it before use, wear gloves and eye protection, and ventilate the work area. Sold per cartridge.
