Description
Permatex Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant is a one-part, acetoxy-cure silicone paste for general sealing and bonding where a clear bead is wanted, such as lens housings, windows, door frames, vinyl trim and housings and covers. It cures with moisture from the air into a flexible, waterproof silicone seal. The 80 mL tube suits toolboxes, service vans and maintenance benches.
The maker warns that curing releases acetic acid, which can irritate eyes, nose and throat, and that curing can corrode some surfaces, so use it in a ventilated area and ask the maker about critical applications. The SDS does not classify the product as hazardous under OSHA, but read it before use. Sold per tube.
