Description
Permatex Copper Anti-Seize Lubricant is a copper-flake anti-seize and thread lubricant in a semi-synthetic grease carrier, supplied in a brush-top bottle. Maintenance and automotive crews apply it to threaded parts exposed to high heat, such as exhaust manifold bolts, spark plug threads in aluminum, oxygen and knock sensor threads and battery cable connections, to help prevent seizing, galling and corrosion.
The Safety Data Sheet lists carcinogenicity Category 1B (signal word Danger, may cause cancer) and notes that the product is very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Obtain special instructions before use, wear protective equipment, stir well before use and read the Safety Data Sheet. Sold per 454 g bottle.
