Permatex Thread Sealant with PTFE, Brush-Top Bottle, 118 mL

Permatex Thread Sealant with PTFE is a smooth white paste with a slight alcohol odour, applied with the brush built into the cap. It seals pipes, fittings and threaded connections in air, oil, gas and hydraulic systems, lubricates the threads for easier assembly and disassembly, and helps guard against galling and corrosion. Permatex lists air conditioning, temperature-sending and hydraulic fittings among its uses. This 118 mL bottle suits maintenance technicians and mechanics who seal a moderate number of joints and want a paste they can brush onto male threads.

The Safety Data Sheet (Danger) classifies the product as a carcinogen (Category 1A) and a specific target organ toxicant after a single exposure (Category 1). The contents are flammable: keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Avoid breathing vapours, wear protective equipment and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Not for pure oxygen or chlorine service. Sold per 118 mL bottle.
