Description
The Proto J7183-00 is a 1/2 in drive, 10 in impact extension for reaching fasteners in confined spaces. The manufacturer states it is designed for use with most drive tools, including fixed-head torque wrenches, and that its male square is oriented in line with the female squares.
Per the manufacturer, a full chamfer at the drive opening and a drive-end chamfer with four detents help give quick, positive engagement on the socket drive walls. The two through holes and the groove are designed to accept a Proto retaining ring, pin or O-ring. Sold as a single tool.
