Description
Single Simpson Strong-Tie DIABST25 hand setting tool, sold each (one piece per unit). It is a tool for installing drop-in anchors, not an anchor: the maker lists it for use with DIAB25 and DIABL25, which take a 1/4 in rod and a 3/8 in (9.5 mm) drilled hole. Struck with a hammer, it drives the expansion plug down the anchor.
The tool is made of carbon steel. Drive until its shoulder touches the top of the anchor, when four indentations show on the anchor. The anchors themselves are sold separately. Installation must follow the manufacturer's instructions and the requirements of your project.
