Description
Short structural connector screw made to replace nails in Simpson Strong-Tie connectors. The #10 size is the one the manufacturer positions as the alternative to 16d nails, and its shank is shaped to match the connector holes. Mechanical galvanizing suits interior use and most exterior conditions.
Supplied as a pack of 100 screws with a 1/4 in hex driver. Install square to the wood surface and follow the manufacturer spacing table; use a 3/32 in pilot bit where the manufacturer notes call for one. Do not mix nails and SD screws in the same connection.
