Description
Single Simpson Strong-Tie Sleeve-All SL25300PF sleeve anchor, 1/4 x 3 in (6.4 x 76 mm), with a flat-head (Phillips) head, in zinc-plated carbon steel. The maker supplies it pre-assembled and sells this model in boxes of 50; here it is sold by the piece.
It is a one-piece expanding sleeve anchor that the maker recommends for solid base materials such as concrete, brick and block, for example to secure door frames, brackets, rails and light fixtures. Drill a 1/4 in (6.4 mm) hole with a carbide bit, clean it, drive the anchor through the fixture and tighten; the maker gives 5 ft-lbf (6.8 N·m) as the installation torque in concrete. Installation must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of the project.
