Description
Single Simpson Strong-Tie STB2-62312 Strong-Bolt 2 wedge anchor, 5/8 x 3-1/2 in (15.9 x 89 mm), sold individually (per piece). It is a zinc-plated carbon steel stud supplied assembled with a nut and washer, with a chamfered top that helps prevent mushrooming when the anchor is driven into the hole.
Meant for fastening plates, brackets, rails, pipe supports and equipment bases to concrete. Drill a 5/8 in (15.9 mm) hole with a carbide bit, clean it, drive the anchor and tighten to 90 ft-lbf (122 N·m); do not use an impact wrench. Installation must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of your project.
