Description
Single Simpson Strong-Tie Titen HD THD75500H heavy-duty screw anchor, 3/4 x 5 in (19 x 127 mm), made of zinc-plated carbon steel with a hex washer head. It is sold per piece, not by the box. The thread cuts its own groove in a pre-drilled hole in concrete or masonry, and the head needs no separate washer unless the project requires one.
It goes into a hole made with a standard 3/4 in carbide drill bit and is driven with a 1-1/8 in wrench or socket until the head meets the fixture. The maker states it is for dry interior use and not recommended for permanent exterior or highly corrosive environments, and that each anchor should be installed one time only.
