Description
Single Simpson Strong-Tie Titen Turbo TNT25234H concrete and masonry screw, 1/4 in (6.4 mm) in diameter and 2-3/4 in (70 mm) long, with a hex head driven with a 5/16 in socket. It is sold per piece (individually), not by the box. The thread includes a channel that gives drilling dust somewhere to go, which the maker says reduces binding while driving.
It goes into a 3/16 in (4.8 mm) pre-drilled hole made with a standard carbide bit, and is meant for fixing wood, track, furring and similar items to concrete or masonry in dry interior locations. Designed for an impact driver or cordless drill. Installation must follow the manufacturer's instructions and the requirements of the project.
