Description
LU700 is a light-pressure, silicone-free machinery oil in a spray can, made for equipment where lubricant may touch food by accident. Sprayon describes a light amber, low-odour oil that also penetrates and loosens rust, dirt and scale. Its list of uses covers mixers, conveyors, valves, pistons, rollers, slides, cams, bottle and carton filling machines, stainless steel pumps and chain drives. The absence of silicone matters on lines where overspray could interfere with carton sealing or capping.
The product is registered with NSF International as an H1 lubricant (registration 115093, letter dated 27 November 2024), for incidental food contact in and around food-processing areas, applied in the minimum amount needed. The Canadian Safety Data Sheet classifies it as an extremely flammable aerosol (Category 1) and an aspiration hazard (Category 1), signal word Danger. Store it locked up, away from heat, and read the label and the Safety Data Sheet before use.
