Description
The Knipex 44 11 J4 is a 12-1/2 in internal snap ring pliers with solid, straight, non-slip tips, made for installing or removing circlips in bore holes. The manufacturer lists it for bores from 3-11/32 in to 5-1/2 in (marked 85-140 mm on the tool), and states that the tips are forged as one part of the tool.
Per the manufacturer, the pliers body and tips are chrome vanadium steel, forged and oil-hardened, with plastic-coated handles; tip width is 1/8 in. Designed to DIN 5256 C. Sold as a single tool.
