Description
The Knipex 61 01 200 is an 8 in high leverage bolt end cutting nipper. The manufacturer states that it offers a greater cutting capacity and needs less effort than conventional end cutting nippers, thanks to its high leverage joint, and that it cuts nails, small bolts and wires including piano wire.
Per the manufacturer, the cutting edges have a hardness of approx. 64 HRC and the pliers are made of forged, multi-stage oil-hardened vanadium steel with plastic-coated handles. Cutting capacity is listed up to 15/64 in for soft wire, 5/32 in for medium-hard wire, 9/64 in for hard wire and 1/8 in for piano wire. Sold as a single tool.
