Description
The Knipex 70 01 160 is a 160 mm (6-1/4 in) diagonal cutter, described by the manufacturer as a classic of the Knipex range for the varied cutting tasks of electricians and mechatronics engineers. Its precision cutting edges are designed for soft and hard wire, with clean cuts on very fine stranded wire right up to the tips of the edges.
The pliers are forged from vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened, and the cutting edges are additionally induction-hardened to approx. 61 HRC according to the manufacturer. The head is polished, the pliers are black atramentized and the handles carry a plastic coating. Sold as a single tool.
