Description
The Knipex 74 01 140 is a 5-1/2 in high leverage diagonal cutter for heavy-duty, continuous use. The manufacturer states that the cutting edge angle and the transmission ratio are matched to give high cutting performance with little effort, and that its forged-on axle is made for demanding work.
Per the manufacturer, the precision cutting edges are induction hardened (approx. 64 HRC) and cut several types of wire, including piano wire. Chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel, forged and multi-stage oil-hardened, with plastic-coated handles. Sold as a single tool.
