Description
The Knipex 74 01 200 is a 200 mm (8 in) high leverage diagonal cutter for very tough, continuous use. The manufacturer states that the high leverage joint makes it cut more easily than conventional diagonal cutters of the same size, and that it needs approx. 20% less effort than the previous model, with the jaws placed very close to the pivot point to help with hard materials.
The precision cutting edges are induction-hardened (approx. 64 HRC per the manufacturer) and suit all wire types including piano wire, with a stated capacity of Ø 2.5 mm on piano wire. The handle shape has been redesigned for a better grip. Black atramentized with a polished head and plastic-coated handles. Sold as a single tool.
