Description
The Knipex 87 01 150 is a 6 in Cobra water pump plier with serrated jaws and push-button adjustment. The manufacturer states that it locks itself on pipes and nuts, so it does not slip off the workpiece and needs little hand force.
The box-joint design has a double guide and the hinge bolt is reliably caught so it does not shift unintentionally. The manufacturer lists hardened gripping teeth of approx. 61 HRC and a pinch guard for the operator's fingers. Made of forged, multi-stage oil-hardened chrome vanadium electric steel. Maximum jaw opening is 1-1/4 in on round pipe. Sold as a single tool.
