Description
Loctite 222MS is a purple, one-part anaerobic threadlocker designed for small fasteners that must come apart again with ordinary hand tools. It hardens between tight metal threads, resists loosening from shock and vibration, and suits uses such as set-screw adjustment, small-diameter screws and long thread engagements where the screw must not shear on removal. According to Henkel, it is intended for fasteners of roughly 6 mm (1/4 in) and under. This is the 10 mL bottle.
The Canadian Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as a skin irritant (Category 2), eye irritant (Category 2B) and a repeated-exposure target organ toxicant (Category 2), signal word Warning. Wear protective gloves, avoid breathing vapours, wash thoroughly after handling and read the Safety Data Sheet. Not normally recommended on plastics. Sold per bottle.
