Description
Loctite 510 Gasket Eliminator is a pink anaerobic paste that replaces pre-cut gaskets on rigid, machined flanges. Spread as a bead or film onto one flange face, it hardens once the parts are bolted together and air is shut out, giving a low-pressure seal on assembly and a published operating range of -55 °C to 200 °C. Industrial mechanics use it on pump housings, gearcases, compressor covers and other metal-to-metal joints that see heat and oil.
The Safety Data Sheet (Henkel Canada, WHMIS 2015) lists skin irritant (Category 2), serious eye irritant (Category 2A), skin sensitizer (Category 1), suspected carcinogen (Category 2) and specific target organ toxicity after repeated exposure (Category 2), signal word Warning. Wear protective gloves, clothing and eye and face protection, avoid breathing vapours or mist and read the SDS before use. Not for pure oxygen systems or chlorine service. Sold per 250 mL tube.
