Description
Loctite 567 is a one-component anaerobic thread sealant for locking and sealing tapered metal threads and pipe fittings. Its lubricating compound helps prevent galling on stainless steel, aluminum and other metal pipe threads, and it works on active and passive metals. Typical users are plant maintenance and process-industry crews sealing industrial pipe fittings and fluid-power connections. This 250 mL tube suits shops that seal many fittings.
The Safety Data Sheet (WHMIS 2015) classifies the product as a skin sensitizer (Category 1, may cause an allergic skin reaction). Wear protective gloves, avoid skin contact, and read the SDS before use. Not recommended for pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems, or for chlorine and other strong oxidizers, and not normally recommended for plastics. Sold per 250 mL tube.
