Description
LPS DETEX Food Grade Machine Oil is a colourless, general-purpose lubricating oil in an aerosol can for use in and around food processing equipment. Maintenance crews spray it on conveyor parts, castors, chains, slicers and food racks to cut sticking, binding and squeaking, and to help free seized nuts and bolts on metal parts. It holds an NSF H1 registration (No. 129000) for incidental food contact. This listing is the 312 g (11 wt oz) can.
The Canadian Safety Data Sheet (WHMIS 2023) classifies the aerosol as Flammable aerosol Category 1, signal word Danger: extremely flammable, pressurized container may burst if heated. Do not spray on a flame or ignition source, do not pierce or burn the can, and store below 50 °C (122 °F). Do not spray directly on people or exposed food. Read the Safety Data Sheet before use.
