Description
Permatex Battery Cleaner is an alkaline foaming aerosol that is sprayed onto corroded battery terminals, cables and connections, left to work for a few minutes and then rinsed off with water. According to Permatex, it cleans all types of storage batteries and their attachments, including those in emergency power supply systems, and it needs no disassembly. This is the 163 g (5.75 oz net weight) can.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as germ cell mutagenicity Category 1B (may cause genetic defects), carcinogenicity Category 1A (may cause cancer), an extremely flammable aerosol and a gas under pressure, with the signal word Danger. Keep away from heat and ignition sources, do not pierce or burn the can, provide ventilation and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold per can.
