Description
Permatex Copper Anti-Seize Lubricant is a copper-flake grease that is brushed onto threaded fasteners and fittings to help prevent seizing, galling and corrosion where heat is a concern. Permatex rates it for -34 to 982 °C (-30 to 1,800 °F) and lists spark plug threads in aluminum, exhaust manifold bolts, engine bolts, oxygen and knock sensors and fuel filter fittings among its uses. Stir before use. This is the 226 g (8 oz) brush-top bottle.
The Safety Data Sheet lists carcinogenicity Category 1B (may cause cancer) with the signal word Danger, and notes that the product is very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Obtain special instructions before use and read the Safety Data Sheet. Not for use on wheel lug nuts or studs. Sold per bottle.
