Description
Permatex Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue is a single-component anaerobic liquid that cures between close-fitting metal threads to lock fasteners against vibration loosening and to seal against leakage. According to Permatex, it suits nut and bolt assemblies from 6 to 20 mm (1/4 to 3/4 in) and can be removed with standard hand tools, which makes it a common choice for valve cover, oil pan, drive shaft and similar service fasteners. This is the 6 mL tube.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as a skin irritant (Category 2), serious eye irritant (Category 2A), carcinogen (Category 1B) and repeated-exposure target organ toxicant (Category 2), with the signal word Danger. Wear protective equipment, obtain special instructions before use and read the Safety Data Sheet. Not recommended for plastics. Sold per tube.
