Description
Permatex Permanent Strength Threadlocker Red is a single-component anaerobic liquid for fasteners from 10 to 25 mm (3/8 to 1 in) that will not be taken apart again in normal service. It cures between close-fitting metal threads to resist shock, vibration and leakage, and Permatex lists heavy equipment, suspension, gear and transmission shaft bolts among its uses. Disassembly requires localized heat. This is the 10 mL tube.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as a skin irritant (Category 2), serious eye irritant (Category 2A), carcinogen (Category 1B) and repeated-exposure target organ toxicant (Category 2), with the signal word Danger. Wear protective equipment, obtain special instructions before use and read the Safety Data Sheet. Not recommended for plastics. Sold per tube.
