Description
The Proto J7178P is a 3/8 in drive, 12 in impact extension with a black oxide finish, made for reaching fasteners that are otherwise difficult to access. The manufacturer states that its male square is oriented in line with the female squares for use with fixed-head torque wrenches.
Per the manufacturer, a drive-end chamfer with four detents helps give quick, positive engagement with the drive tool. The size is stamped on the tool and it has a side locking hole. Sold as a single tool.
