Description
The Proto J7182P is a 1/2 in drive, 3 in impact extension for reaching fasteners in locations that would otherwise be difficult to access. The manufacturer states that the male square is oriented in-line with the female squares for use with fixed head torque wrenches.
Per the manufacturer, a chamfer at the drive end and four detents help give quick, positive engagement with the drive tool on any of the socket drive walls, and the full chamfer at the drive opening eases engagement. The size is stamped on the tool and it has a side locking hole. Sold as a single tool.
